‘Contact us’ form
Our website is powered by WordPress. We offer the possibility for visitors to our website to contact us via a form in which we collect personal information in order to respond to visitors’ queries. If you give your permission we keep this information as a Business Contact according to our Data Retention guidelines.
Use of cookies

WordPress
Our website is powered by WordPress. We use a third-party service, WordPress.com, to publish microsites for our different offerings and, in future, our blog. These sites are hosted at WordPress.com, which is run by Automattic Inc. We use a standard WordPress service to collect anonymous information about users’ activity on the site, for example the number of users viewing pages on the site, to monitor and report on the effectiveness of the site and help us improve it. 2. Clients, Potential Clients and Business Contacts
People we meet face-to-face or virtually
Beroud Consulting Ltd enters contact details of people we meet and do business with (e.g. business cards) in an electronic address book and/or our CRM tool, provided by Really Simple Systems (RSM) in order to service them and/or just keep in touch; you can view RSM’s privacy policy here: https://www.reallysimplesystems.com/privacy-policy/. Contact details are reviewed regularly and shredded or deleted when no longer needed in accordance to our Data Retention guidelines (after 3 years for paper-stored data or 5 years for electronic data).
People we contract with
When you become a client, a supplier or an employee of Beroud Consulting Ltd we may need to ask for additional personal data for the purpose of the delivery or payment of services (e.g. bank account details). We subcontract our accounting and payroll to The Accountancy People (http://www.theaccountancypeople.co.uk) and use the online software package provided by Xero (https://www.xero.com/uk/). Your data will be held by them on our behalf in accordance with legal and best practice requirements.
People who call us
When you call Beroud Consulting Ltd we collect information that identifies you in order to respond to your query and/or monitor the type of enquiries we receive. If we decide to enter contact details in an electronic address book and/or a CRM tool, these details are reviewed regularly and shredded or deleted when no longer needed after 3 years of inactivity.
People who email us
We monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.
People we coach
We use Gallup’s CliftonStrengths® online assessment, which involves automated profiling, as a basis for our individual and collective coaching services. When we purchase an access code for our coachees, we have direct access to their assessment results at the Gallup Strength Centre https://www.gallupstrengthscenter.com.You can view Gallup’s privacy policy here: https://www.gallupstrengthscenter.com/home/en-us/privacy. Gallup requires your explicit consent for this processing. We keep notes of coaching conversations on paper files that are shredded after 3 years of inactivity.
People we train and teach
We train and teach people on behalf of other organisations for whom we need to hold personal data. We delete/shred this data as soon as the relevant training cycle is complete, for instance at the end of the academic year.
3. Lawful basis for processing
In most of the aboves cases, our lawful basis for processing this information is legitimate interests in order to carry out our business activities. Where we are providing services to you, our lawful basis will be contractin order to fulfil our contractual obligations. In the case of cookies, our lawful basis is based on consent.
4. Sharing your data with others
In the course of our business activities, we may need to share your data with others, these are trusted service providers, such as our professional advisers (identified in the appendix). We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
5. People who make a complaint to us
If we receive a complaint from a person we will make up a file containing the details of the complaint. This normally contains the identity of the complainant and any other individuals involved in the complaint.
We will only use the personal information we collect to process the complaint and to check on the level of service we provide. We keep a record of the complaint in our central GDPR computer storage area.

You have a right to be informed about the data we are holding, the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you, the right to rectification in to correct any data that is wrong, the right to erasure, the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to data portability.
